About Me

Marathon Runner, Ultra Cyclist, Programmer, Chemical Engineer, avid Traveller and developer

I have completed my doctoral studies in the field of computational turbulence with the design of chemical reactors, from the Institute of Chemical Technology. Having worked with CFD softwares and associated solvers for the past 7 years, I have tried to understand the underlying assumptions of the turbulence models and the implications of their simplifying assumptions. Lately, my interest has shifted to understand the phenomena at a mesoscopic scale with the interaction of solid rigid bodies in the presence of the macroscopic continuum of fluids. The newest and most of favoured technologies are the Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) and the Discrete element method (DEM).
The current website is a compendium of all information I have gathered in course of understanding or even having developed along the way while researching on the aforementioned subjects.
